Palm Beach, FL – Born in Miami in 1982, this Colombian artist has been in many places along with very well known famous people and celebrities, gaining hearts and good feelings with his songs and positive attitude he names faith.

A Colombian and born in Miami? Well, his Colombian parents were living in Miami at the time he was born and traveled to Colombia when he, their soon to be singer son, was only 5 years old. He just came back at the age of 21.
Perhaps Mateo Blanco is not as popular as Julio Iglesias, at least not right now. But he has been able to share his songs with Aretha Franklin with whom he sang on the same stage, former president George H. W. Bush, Tony Blair, Renée Fleming, Michael Bolton, Robert De Niro, Emilio Estefan, Shaquille O’Neal, and Lauren Bacall, to name a few. – Mateo mentioned what he could just remember during our interview – It seemed countless to us.
Full of talent, Mateo started singing in operas when he was 13 years old. Since then, he has been involved in music composition and production.
“I have been fortunate to have teachers like Augusto Cortés, who created the White Opera in Colombia and introduced me to sing the opera Niño, Hombre Dios and, in 1996, the operas Él and La Creación del Mundo. In 1999, I was part of the cast of La Traviata, Rigoletto, Don Giovanni and Il Trovator when entered to Prolírica de Antioquia”, said Mateo. Prolírica de Antioquia is a foundation dedicated to promote opera and musical theatrical events in Medellin, Colombia.
He studied Commercial Music at Florida Atlantic University in Palm Beach, between 2005 and 2007. However, a teacher advised him to take an opportunity to record his first Compact Disk, and he did. Besides that, Mateo created his first musical video in Atlanta to support a children’s Foundation in Colombia, presided by Angela Patricia Janiot, senior anchor for CNN en Español.
Now at age of 28, promoting his first artistic job, Mateo Blanco is visiting Palm Beach, from where he remembered nice people, friends and places where he sang as a teenager.
He loves Colombia, Palm Beach, Miami, USA, Canada, people, friends, and committed to sing, putting smiles on everybody’s faces, has only positive goals in his mind. He sends a strong message of self-belief and persuasion to make a dream come true. Full of charisma, he is preparing material to produce his next album.
