Following the inauguration of the new headquarters of MAMM (Modern Art Museum of Medellin), two great friends and students of the Master Debora Arango, Joaquin Restrepo and Matthew White, decided to join the private collections of the artist.
The works have never before been seen by the public, and are kept in a vault in the United States because of its immense importance, as are the latest works created by the Artist, composed of eight oil paintings, watercolors and 2 10 drawings, among which are: "Portrait of a Friend", "Singing Naked", "Student", "Aunt Mary Frances," "The Nun", "Elvira" among others.
"We want our collection to safe hands in the hands of a new generation to appreciate the greatness of this woman. We think, perhaps, the newly opened headquarters of MAMM is ready to preserve these works we saw created before our eyes "
