Matthew White is a revelation of our music. And the best proof of his talent is the new album, "Matthew 7.24", soon to be released in the United States and several Latin American countries. In this CD, which has opted for the label Global Music Entertainment, White takes a tour of several Latin American rhythms, through which it can demonstrate the versatility and power of his voice.

On this album (which, part of the proceeds will go to charity), stands out the category of team members who have accompanied White on his production arrangements include composer Gustavo Arenas, who has been nominated for a Latin Grammy, on several occasions, and the participation of guitarist and producer Dan Warner, who has won awards from the likes of Grammy and EMI. It is also outstanding work Vinicio Ludovic, creator of the main arrays of mambos, who has become known as bassist Carlos Vives. And Joseph Aguirre looks, by the winds, with the same energy and virtuosity he displayed in his years working with Grupo Niche and Yuri Buenaventura. Also excellent companion Catherine Rodriguez singer, guitarist, Santiago Jimenez and traditional singer of our Caribbean coast Gabriel Romero.

7.24 Matthew gives us a very interesting scenario, where are achieved combinations of instruments and rhythms that might be thought unlikely, but in the end produce a lovely result. White, following the example of Placido Domingo, performs works by indigenous popular with academic touch refined tenor voice (though some better classified as "baritone-Martin", taking into account the color and extent of his voice).

This production is the result of the intense preparation of the artist, who has taken his musical identity, since the beginning of adolescence. I met him about ten years ago, through the lyric soprano Elisa Brex Argentina, one of its propulsion. In those days, when Brex, Gloria Zea and other leaders of our classical music he prophesied a brilliant avenir as a singer, his interest was in the best operas of the Italian repertoire (especially the sublime Verdi trilogy), which reached maximum arias master. Alternated their time between high school study and cultivation of her vocal gifts and, despite his youth, he counted among his admirers and important people in our culture, as David Manzur and Debora Arango, who, in an interview, said, talking about Matthew, "Her voice is like thunder, which goes directly to the hearts of those who hear." For its part, the teacher Camilo Isaza Torres and his wife, my dear friend Dona Helena, convinced of the talent of this young man, became sponsors of recording his first experiments.

And his supporters were right from the start, then once Mateo traveled to the United States to specialize in Florida Atlantic University, managed to impress positively to their teachers and distinguished musicians living in the Northern giant, known as the composer George David Wiss, soprano Renee Fleming the ineffable and the famous Aretha Franklin, who had the honor of playing duo "Besame Mucho". So, not long for our singer was invited to participate in concerts that could showcase their talents to world figures such as former U.S. President George Bush and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

In these wanderings, he met the distinguished producer Gustavo Arenas, who would be his link input to studies of Global Music Entertainment. And here's the result: "Matthew 7.24", an album with all the ingredients necessary to launch an artist for sure.

I join, then, commentators have extolled the importance of birth in the light of this new figure in Colombia, which enhances the image of our young people elsewhere.

One purpose of Mateo Blanco is that their work generates positive feelings

Matthew White is a young man with an extensive study of music. He just achieve the dream of recording their first album and present it in coming days to Colombians.

From an early age, Matthew White went to the opera and music through his maternal grandparents and especially his grandmother who was unable to pursue the dream of music but to see the potential of his grandson encouraged him to follow musical path and became his first teacher. For many years, Matthew had the dream to record her album and have the complicity of those who have encouraged and determination, now that dream is a reality.

Son of a Santander and Antioquia, Matthew White was born in the United States for many years lived in the country to the north in an area in which very rarely spoken in Spanish, which was an impediment for all to move forward with his career musical, but in a state where the majority of the population is American and only speak English, Matthew managed to packed houses around the music, Spanish music. This began to approach his dream.

During his training period was under the baton of maestros such as Augusto Cortes (1995 -1996), Clare Solorzano (1997), Mary Montoya (1998), Elisa Brex (1999 - 2002), Marjorie Gordon (2002 - 2003), Joseph LoCicero The Mello Kings-(2003 - 2004), Sally Brown (2005 - 2006), Monica Cordova and Patricia Fleitas (2006 - 2007).

In the United States had the opportunity to appear before people like Tony Blair, singer Michael Bolton, actress Loren Bacall, the basketball player Shaquille O'Neill, among others. In addition, these presentations were found with the composer George David Wiss, known for hits like "Can not help falling in love with you" and "The Lion Sleeps tonigth", who praised his talent as a producer Gustavo Arenas, who represented the first door that opened to record his first album.

This album is very special to enable him to achieve the dream of his life, but also from its inception has something very important is that at this time of so much trouble, Matthew White has sought to convey a music that spread to those who listen to positive things. For that reason, from the choice of musicians to accompany him to each of the processes that made this work possible, we sought to have a very good energy for transmission to the public.

For two years this young talent moved to Atlanta to record his album, an album that brought the country and expects in coming days, present to the public. Given the premise that people often buy only one album and some of those songs 'good' sought in his album all the songs were good and hence its decision to include songs of different genres.

In this work, he leaves a little to one side the lyric genre with which he has worked and included popular songs of various genres in their own version. Additionally, this work is released as a composer through the pop ballad titled "Through your eyes."

On this song expresses that it is very special to him because it leads to evoke a very important moment in his life, however, highlights aspects of all the songs and has, for example, the song "El Condor Pasa" was what he allowed to be released in North America and even played it George Bush (father) and the song "Plump of love" to be the single and lets support the work of the
Colombianitos Foundation.

This album will be released in two weeks and now Matthew White is focused on recording the video for "Plump of love" and the launching of this work, which will be in Medellin and Bogota.

Participants - Teamwork

It highlights, in this album involving Dan Warner, guitarist and producer, Grammy-winning and recently took home a prize EMI for a comedy, and Vinicio Ludovic, creator of the mambo main arrays. The bassist has worked for years with Carlos Vives and has recorded for a number of international artists. Also relevant are the winds by Jose Aguirre, trumpeter, composer and producer who has been with Niche, Yuri Buenaventura, Cinnamon and more. This adds a new and young talents such as Santiago Jimenez, a guitarist who gave a special touch to the mambo.

Complementing this background of stars, Catherine Rodriguez and accompanying voice shines in the duets with Matthew and Gabriel Romero, a living glory of Colombian music. They adorn the works of Carlos Alonso, composer.
