His purpose is to let everyone know all about the Latin American music from Mateo Blanco’s music style. Mateo Blanco was born September 10th, 1981 in Miami, FL, a new gold star that brings prestige to the Global Entertainment Music label.
In July 24th, his first album, Mateo has interpreted great classics of opera to bring a popular music compound giving you a glimpse of the best of his voice. The songs of this master piece was previously studied and customized exclusively for Mateo Blanco, in which great musicians like Latin Grammy nominee, composer and a producer Gustavo Arenas, arranged and produced most of the songs.
The works of Dan Warner, Grammy Award and EMI Award winner for comedy, as producer, guitarist are highlighted, along with the arrangements of Vinicio Ludovic, who creatively developed the main arrangements of the mambos in this album. el papa angel, bassist, had worked for many years for Carlos Vives, and had recorded for several renown international artists. Mateo Blanco included in this master piece his versions of the following classics: “El Cóndor Pasa”, “La Quiero a Morir”, and “El Corazón de Macondo,” along ‘el Piragüero Mayor’ Gabriel Romero (the greatest interpreter of the Piragüa). is a pop-fusion production with guitar and violin arrangements that plug-in the mambos with all their classic percussion, a little salsa rhythms here and there, and some hip hop fusions. Also, African, Caribbean, Andean, European and North American beats had composed this master piece. Mateo Blanco lanza su primer álbum
UN ARTISTA CON CORAZÓN DE COLOMBIANITO
Después de lograr un importante reconocimiento en escenarios de música lírica en Estados Unidos, Mateo Blanco da un giro a su carrera musical y lanza un álbum que contiene ritmos de baladas, mambo, salsa y vallenato.
El cantautor colombo-estadounidense Mateo Blanco ha tenido la oportunidad de mostrar su talento ante personalidades de la talla de Aretha Franklin, con quien compartió escenario; Michael Bolton, Lauren Bacall, Robert De Niro, George H. Bush, el basquetbolista Shaquille O’Neal y la pintora colombiana Debora Arango, sin embargo, es con un tema de su primer álbum Mateo Blanco 7.24, con el que considera ha logrado la mayor satisfacción de su carrera musical.
Se trata de la canción Llenitas de Amor, especialmente compuesta por este artista nacido en Estados Unidos y de padres colombianos, para la Fundación Colombianitos, creada por la presentadora Ángela Patricia Janiot: “Yo sólo tengo una gran posesión en mi corazón y es ese amor tan grande que siento por estos niños que son la esperanza de mi país”, asegura al respecto Mateo.
En el álbum Mateo Blanco 7.24, el artista deja de lado las obras sacras y los grandes clásicos de la ópera para darle cabida al cancionero popular con una producción de pop fusión con guitarras y violines en la que destacan los mambos con toda su percusión clásica, una que otra salsa y algunas combinaciones en la percusión con el hip hop. Irrumpen además elementos africanos, caribeños, andinos, norteamericanos y europeos. Las versiones de El cóndor pasa, La quiero a morir y El corazón de Macondo, que grabó a dúo con el Piragüero mayor, Gabriel Romero, son algunos de los títulos del trabajo discográfico.
“Es un disco multigénero, un experimento que incluye 12 temas y en cuya construcción participaron grandes músicos como Gustavo Arenas, nominado como compositor al Latin Grammy 2002; Dan Warner, guitarrista y productor, ganador de varios Grammy y recientemente merecedor de un premio EMMY; Luis ‘El Papa’ Ángel, quien ha trabajado por años con Carlos Vives y ha grabado para un sinnúmero de artistas internacionales, sólo por mencionar algunos”, explica el cantautor.
Finalmente sobre su formación vale la pena mencionar que desde muy joven se comprometió con su talento y su vocación y adelantó estudios con grandes maestros, entre ellos Augusto Cortez, Clara Solórzano, Mary Montoya, Elisa Brex, Marjorie Gordon, Joseph Lo Cicero, Sally Brown, Mónica Córdova y Patricia Fleitas.
